We've had 2 dead trees since we moved in. right by the high-line wires to the house and to the neighbors. They were tall enough to hit the shed, the garage and the house. We needed to have them taken down by professional tree trimmers, as much as that pained us!
Turns out the guy we hired from down the road had his best cutter doing the cutting and it was David's PE teacher! Small town living at it's best.
He did most of it by hand, pushing or throwing the branches where they needed to go. The tallest parts of the second tree they had to use a rope and hold the branches up and pull them where they needed to go after they were cut. I didn't get pictures of that.
This guy was all over the place, it was like watching a carnival ride. Thankfully, he got the job done safely and we had no damage.
this is what it looks like now. they left the last of the trunks so they wouldn't be on top of the branches that still need to be cut up and moved. Our neighbor should be coming to get the wood, if not, we'll have a few bonfires!
