sleeping masks aka ni-night glasses

I got to sew all day yesterday! I made Jude a t-shirt to wear to church when I got up. His number 4 shirt got stained some how and is in the laundry still so he can't wear that. Then we made pizza for lunch and he wiped sauce all over his new shirt. Need to remember to change out of good clothes before we eat! I had cut out another shirt so when we got home I sewed that up. That is the shirt he's wearing in these pictures.
Emilee asked me to make sleeping masks when I was in the process of ironing all the interfacing on her messenger bag. So, we took a break and drew a pattern and picked out what we could use. The girls have lace sewn on theirs. Jude couldn't be left out. He calls them sleeping glasses.
We used flannel, fusible fleece, lace, and bias tape. Quite simple and definitely not perfect, but they love them.
 so happy!
I have some ideas for other masks  and how to make them cute. I think I'll be making more of these today when I am sewing the bag for Emilee.
