found drum set pic. had david save it and edit it in photoshop inserting a graph so we could enlarge it. I used wrapping paper to make canvas size graphs to transfer the picture.
David transfered the outline of the drums onto the wrapping paper. He was much better than I at this. I tried, but it was laughable. I thought going into this that I would be competent, but no. Then I colored on the back of the wrapping paper, just along the lines he had made, outlining the drums.
I laid the paper on the canvas we had painted blue and traced once again with the crayon side down, leaving a faint line to follow.
then I traced again with black marker.
final step is filling in the outline with black paint. there are four panels. I think so far it looks awesome and I can't wait to get them all finished and hung up!
